Although there are many reports about next generation of this attractive crossover, we are pretty sure that the 2018 Nissan Juke will continue in the pretty much same way. Although the company confirmed that the second generation is on its way, this most likely won’t happen in a year or two. Once again, this model will come with some revolutionary solutions, but this kind of work demands more time. So, we will see a familiar crossover for the next year, which is still one of the most attractive in class, despite it came more than seven years ago. The 2018 Juke will come without bigger changes, featuring the same design, engines and pretty much same equipment, although we could see some additional standard features. We expect its arrival by the end of the year.
2018 Nissan Juke features
The 2018 Nissan Juke will come without bigger changes. It will come with the pretty much identic characteristics as the current model. There will be three trim levels in offer – S, SV, and SL. The base S model comes with standard features like 17-inch alloy wheels, a rearview camera, air-conditioning, keyless ignition and entry, full power accessories, cruise control. It also comes with things like Bluetooth, smartphone integration, a 6-speaker audio system etc. A mid-range SV model adds things like a sunroof, rear privacy glass, automatic climate control, upgraded cloth upholstery, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a satellite radio. It also comes with the optional package that includes navigations and a 5.8-inch touchscreen. Finally, there is the SL trim, which includes all these features and adds automatic headlights, foglights, and leather upholstery. Also, there are a high-performance Nismo and Nismo RS trims in the offer.
2018 Nissan Juke engines
The powertrain is one of the main advantages of this crossover, compared to the competition. All models come with a turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which is good for 188 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. This powerful but efficient engine comes in a pair with the CVT transmission. With this amount of power, this crossover accelerates more like a car than a crossover. It needs only 6.8 seconds to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour.
2018 Nissan Juke release date and price
The 2018 Nissan Juke will come by the end of the year, with a base price of 21.000 dollars. Main rivals will be models like Mazda CX-3, Toyota C-HR, Fiat 500X etc.
