If you are a fan of SUV, then you are at the right place. Ever since 90’s the Nissan has found its place at the top of the list. From 2012, he becomes crossover as we know it until this day. Not so far away from Honda or Toyota with 7 seats and v-6 engine it looks like a good competition in every way.
2018 Nissan Pathfinder changes
If you looking for the difference between 2017 model and 2018 Nissan Pathfinder has the same engine as his younger brother. Some things are new, such as automated braking or the rear door alert feature. If you remember the Midnight Edition package, it’s coming with the Pathfinder SL. For less money, the S and SV trim level is available to you, of course, if you want more than SL and Platinum are the right choices.
2018 Nissan Pathfinder exterior design
As a result of long history and 2017 model, Pathfinder collects all of these in one. LED lights in boomerang shape and strong hood with front bumper makes this model outstanding. Aerodynamic design with rearview mirrors makes you feel the presence of strong aerodynamic force made up for off-road driving.
2018 Nissan Pathfinder interior
If we talk about the interior, the main thing about 2018 Nissan Pathfinder is the space. With seven seats and huge cargo capacity, it is perfect for a big family. Comfort and capacity are one of the main packages when it comes to crossover. Flex seating system is supported and you can enjoy your ride while your little owns are safe at the back of the vehicle.
2018 Nissan Pathfinder front board
At the front, there is a little touch of future. Advance Drive-Assists Display is in front of the driver with built-in HD microphone for better voice recognition. A touchscreen monitor is about eight inches in the middle of the instrument table.
2018 Nissan Pathfinder engine
Every Pathfinder is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine which provides better throttle performance and enhanced fuel economy. Mirror bore coating helps in reducing engine weight. The final torque is at 259 lb-ft, with 284 horsepower. Nissan Xtronic transmission can be found in all models from 2018, and it gives more normal hastening feeling.
Good things
Interior is, of course, a huge plus of the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. It has a plenty of space and seats equipped with soft leather which makes exceptional feeling. Moving seats and rear door alert system is a huge improvement. Also, Bluetooth and USB support is a good addition to the whole picture.
Bad things
Surprisingly, 2018 Nissan Pathfinder is not so good on the road as you thought. It gives you so much less than expected. Especially when we talk about wavy road Pathfinder falls back for its competitors. Steering is a bit off and that’s what makes Nissan clumsy more than it should be.
Verdict
Depending on the model you choose, the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder can be all in one vehicle for you and your family. Powerful engine and 4WD system are enough for basic use. However, if you are planning to drive this baby to the wild, then maybe this is not the best option. Rear door alert is a great feature for parents, but missing of the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto mirroring it falls behind. The best thing about it is the price which is for thousands of dollars cheaper than its competitors.
