According to the latest reports, 2018 Skoda Yeti is coming completely redesigned. Nowadays, models for Czech manufacturer are no more surprise. This company makes excellent cars, and this SUV is one of them. It came in 2009, as the first vehicle of this type from Skoda. It instantly started to mark excellent sales results. After eight years of production, it is the perfect time for a redesign. So far, we don’t know much about the new model, but several reports suggest that new model will come with several big improvements. It will ride on a new platform, get a new much more attractive look, a new palette of engines etc. Also, the interior will be completely new, with new design and technologies. We expect its arrival somewhere late in the year.

According to several reports, a new model will get a completely new look, much better than the current model. It will be sleeker and feature sharper lines, just like other newest models of the brand. It will completely follow new design language of the brand. In terms of dimensions, 2018 Skoda Yeti should come a little bigger. The new platform will provide longer wheelbase, which will provide more space inside, although current model is already among leaders in class in this segment. Interior design will be also completely new, and it will provide more space both for front and rear passengers. Also, we will see the new dashboard, with plenty of latest technologies.

Just like it was the case with original, 2018 Skoda Yeti will come with a long list of engines in the offer. We expect gasoline and diesel units on the offer, and there are also rumors about hybrid powertrain. Gasoline lineup will have consisted of some familiar units such as 1.4-liter TSI engine, but we also expect to see a new 1.0-liter unit in an offer. When it is about diesel, there are well-known TDI units with a displacement of 1.6 and 2.0 liters, which could eventually come with improved power and economy. The hybrid version should come with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine in combination with an electric motor, but exact details are still unknown.
