Despite the fact that this German manufacturer is one of the largest car makers in the world, there are only two crossovers in the offer. However, this state will be finally changed, because new 2018 VW Atlas is about to come. The new model had its premiere recently. New SUV will be positioned between Tiguan and Touareg, and it will come with very interesting styling, heavily based on CrossBlue Concept. So, what can we expect from 2018 Atlas? This brand new model will enter the class of large three-row crossovers. It will come with many benefits. Many features, both in mechanical and visual aspect will be borrowed from a premium Q7 crossover. Besides high quality, we will also see efficient engines in the offer and plenty of latest technologies inside.
2018 VW Atlas design
The 2018 VW Atlas is a completely new model from this German manufacturer. The company has finally introduced the third crossover in its lineup. The new model uses most of the design solutions from the CrossBlue concept. It comes will familiar design, which comes in classic VW manner, without some radical experiments. The look of the model is good, but very much alike Audi Q7 and Skoda Kodiak. We feel that this familiar design will secure some decent sales results, but it is hard to expect 2018 VW Atlas to stand out with this appearance. When it comes to the interior, we found many similarities with Passat, especially when it comes to the dashboard and large touchscreen at the center console. This crossover offers a plenty of space, which is one of its benefits. However, we expected a little bit more upscale look from a new crossover.
