The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe will compete the likes of Ford Expedition and Toyota Sequoia. The full-size 7-seat crossover is also facing the competition from GMC Yukon, which is also on the way for 2019 season. Nevertheless, the US carmaker is responding to all challenges. The fourth generation is still actual on the market, and it will be in next couple of years. At least. After 2022, Chevy will launch next generations and new models of its SUVs and trucks. Among them will be Tahoe. But, in 2019 season, we will see a refreshed crossover, with most of the features carried over from its predecessor.
2019 Chevrolet Tahoe styling
As we already mentioned, the huge vehicle can take up to 7 passengers. It doesn’t lack space for occupants or their cargo. Furthermore, Chevy is installing the latest equipment for audio, entertaining, and infotainment system. So, buyers will get a MyLink with Bluetooth, smartphone, and USB connections. Higher trims will bring leather seats and Bose audio system with more speakers. Of course, top of the lineup model will bring some premium features for cabin and exterior. For example, Premier trim comes with 20-inch wheels, while the standard crossover uses 18-inchers.
2019 Chevrolet Tahoe engines
There are two drivetrains for 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe. First of them is a 5.3-liter VVT unit. The EcoTec3 mill can produce 355 hp. Direct injection helps the engine to achieve 383 lb-ft of torque. This output is not going to change for 2019 Tahoe. Aforementioned Premier model has special features. With these, the SUV gets a bigger engine. 6.2-liter directly-injected V-8 can create 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Of course, it is not so fuel friendly, although it comes with Active Fuel Management feature. With a 10-speed transmission that sends power to all wheels, this crossover will be capable for off-road work and duties. Base units are using a 6-speed gearbox and 2WD.
2019 Chevrolet Tahoe price
The 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe is going to upscale the pricing list of the current crossover. Chevy suggests MSRP of $48,000, which with destination charge reaches $50,000. The model for 2019 season will start from $50,000 without any extras. Premiere version with AWD will go from $70,000.
