According to the latest reports, this model definitely has a big chance to retain and even improve its very good position on the market. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE features a lot of improvements. This was a complete overhaul, which included core changes in all aspects.

Seems enough for a daily driver, but those who want something peppier can opt for a new six-cylinder unit, which delivers 362 horsepower. Also, this engine comes with a mild hybrid setup, which adds an extra 21 hp in short intervals, which is highly beneficial during acceleration. Speaking of acceleration, this version marks a quite respectable 0-60 time that goes around 5.5 seconds.

When it comes to fuel economy, the base engine returns around 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. With the six-cylinder engine, you can also count on pretty respectable numbers, which go around 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Both engines come paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The base version of 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE, equipped with a four-cylinder engine, goes around 53.700 dollars. AWD models are available at 56.000 dollars, while models with six cylinders start at around 61.000 dollars.
