While Nissan has an amazing reputation when it comes to SUV vehicles, the Armada somehow never managed to establish its position in North America. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the overall quality is great. There are even some pretty attractive color schemes and combinations of different materials that put the Armada almost on par with premium full-size SUVs.
When it comes to comfort, the front seats are amazing. Things are as good in the second row, while even the third row seems spacious enough to accommodate an adult passenger. On the other side, a big complaint goes to the cargo area. It is one of the smallest in the class. You can count on 16.5 cubic feet behind the third row, while the overall capacity goes up to 95 cubic feet.

When it comes to standard equipment, the 2020 Nissan Armada could come with a couple of additions. Still, most of the things will remain the same. This SUV is surprisingly generous in terms of standard features. All models come with standard features like dual-zone automatic climate control and an infotainment system that includes an 8-inch touch screen, navigation, a 13-speaker Bose audio system, satellite radio, Bluetooth, four USB ports, and voice recognition. Additionally, you can also get things like a moonroof and a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system.
When it comes to safety, this SUV seems even more impressive. All models come with things like a rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, forward collision warning, automatic forward emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a rear door alert. In higher trims, you can also get advanced systems like a surround-view camera system, blind spot monitoring, backup collision intervention, lane departure warning, and lane keep assist.

Under the hood, things will definitely remain the same. The 2020 Nissan Armada will come with a well-known 5.6-liter V8 engine, which delivers plenty of power. It is good for about 390 horsepower, which is more than enough for any situation. Combined with excellent handling, it provides an amazing driving experience. Moreover, it is also quite capable. A max towing capacity goes up to 8.500 pounds, which are quite decent numbers for the class. On the other side, a big complaint goes for the fuel economy, which is way below average for the segment of full-size SUVs. Considering that there are no bigger changes to come for the next year, we expect to see 2020 Nissan Armada sometime late in the year. The price should remain pretty much the same, which somewhere around 47.000 dollars for the base model. Some of the competitors are models like Toyota Sequoia, Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition, etc.
