According to the latest reports, the 2018 Lincoln MKC will receive its first update. This is one of the youngest models in the lineup of this luxury brand. It came three years ago, as an all-new model. It came into one pretty new segment of compact premium crossovers. Nowadays, we have many models in this segment. There are models like Lexus NX, BMW X1, Mercedes GLA and many others. Because of that, the company wants to make some updates, to make this model more competitive. Although the exact details are still unknown, we should see several new details for this occasion. Some reports suggest changes both in visual aspect and in terms of new standard features. On the other side, the mechanical part of the car should remain the same. We expect 2018 MKC to arrive somewhere late in the year.

When it comes to the interior design, we could see some smaller revisions on the dashboard, but the overall design will remain pretty much the same. In terms of equipment, the 2018 Lincoln MKC will remain with the same four trim levels in the offer. Those are Premiere, Select, Reserve, and Black Label. Each trim level should receive several new standard features.

The 2018 Lincoln MKC will continue with the same engines in the offer. There are two EcoBoost units available, both with four cylinders. The first one is a 2.0-liter engine, which has a max output of 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The optional engine is new 2.3-liter units, which has a max power of 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque. When it comes to transmission, both engines come with a 6-speed automatic.
