The 2018 Volvo XC60 is coming completely redesigned. This compact crossover is the best-selling model from Swedish manufacturer and company gave best effort to create a decent successor. This model is much more than that. It comes with so many great characteristics that will surely stand out among other luxury crossovers. It rides on a new platform and comes a little bit larger. Wheelbase is for about 3.5 inches longer, which will surely provide better comfort. The 2018 Volvo XC60 features a completely new styling, which is significantly more attractive, compared to the original. It completely follows design new design language that came with new S90. Compared to other models in class, that are mostly with sharp lines and sporty look, this one looks much more elegant. 2018 Volvo XC60 engines
The 2018 Volvo XC60 will come with the whole palette of engines. There are petrol and diesel units on the offer, and also a well-known T8 hybrid model. There is a gasoline 2.0-liter engine, which comes in two configurations, with 251 and 316 horses. The same thing is with a diesel engine, which also comes in two variants when it comes to max power. It also has a displacement of 2.0 liters and comes in a version with 187 and 232 horsepower. When it comes to hybrid model, it features a more powerful version of 2.0-liter petrol engine, with 316 horses, in combination with the hi-output 86-hp electric motor. So, total output is around 400 horsepower.
2018 Volvo XC60 release date
In Sweden, 2018 Volvo XC60 will come already next month, which North American model will be available probably in June.
