The 2020 Buick Enclave will be representing the third production year of the current, second generation of this mid-size crossover. Originally designed for the Chinese market, the Enclave came to North America as well. It is a well-balanced SUV, which coquettes with both mainstream and premium segment. Walking on that fine line makes this crossover quite unique on the market. Most experts would agree that a third production year usually doesn’t bring anything spectacular in terms of novelties.
Therefore, we expect to see 2020 Buick Enclave with a familiar design, without more important changes compared to the current models. A mid-cycle refresh should happen in about two years. Until then, the Enclave will continue to ride in the same way. Count on the same design, as well as on the same list of standard and available features. Given the lack of novelties, the new model should arrive sometime late in the year.

2020 Buick Enclave Redesign
In terms of base design characteristics, the 2020 Buick Enclave will continue with a familiar layout that has been introduced a couple of years ago. The second generation came with a large portion of changes. Of course, the new C1 platform is the first one that comes to mind. It is an extended version of a familiar architecture, which also underprints models like Chevy Traverse and Cadillac XT5. The new model features for about two inches longer wheelbase compared to the original version, which makes it more spacious on the inside and more functional in terms of cargo space.
Still, the most notable is a new styling. Compared to the original model, you can notice a significant improvement in terms of the style. The new model looks far more mature and we are pretty sure that the next year won’t bring any important changes in this aspect. The best we can get are new color options.

2020 Buick Enclave Interior
The interior of the 2020 Buick Enclave will also come without any important change. Count on the same cabin layout, which is characterized by a lot of style and quality materials. The cabin looks very upscale. Though it isn’t at the same levels as some lower-grade premium models, it is far more opulent compared to all mainstream rivals. As we already mentioned, this crossover coquettes with the premium segment, so the sound insulation is at a high level as well.
The cabin is luxurious and quiet, but also very spacious and functional. Massive and comfortable seats are the thing you can count on, as well as plenty of legroom. This crossover comes in a typical three-row configuration, with seating for seven. First and second rows are pretty generous in terms of legroom. The third row is also pretty comfortable, surprisingly for a mid-size SUV.
The second-row captain’s chairs are also available. When it comes to the cargo space, you can count on above-average ratings. Even with all three rows in function, you can count on almost 24 cubic feet of cargo space.

Features
When it comes to standard equipment, we could see a couple of additions. Still, keep in mind that the current model is already generous in this aspect. Things like a touchscreen with the company’s latest infotainment systems are standard across the whole range, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, satellite radio, Siri Eyes Free, Bluetooth, and six speakers. You can also count on things like a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, remote start, tri-zone automatic climate control, active noise cancellation etc. Among optional tech features, some of the highlights are things like wireless smartphone charging, a navigation system, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, HD Radio, an 8-inch configurable driver display, a 120-volt household-style power outlet etc.
In terms of safety, all versions are equipped with a rearview camera and rear parking sensors. The list of available safety systems and drivers aids is very long. It includes things like a 360-degree surround-view camera, a rear camera mirror, blind spot monitoring, lane change alert, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision warning, low-speed automatic emergency braking, full-speed automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking and many more.
2020 Buick Enclave Engine
The 2020 Buick Enclave will continue with a familiar 3.6-liter V6, which is good for about 310 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Besides plenty of power, it also delivers quite decent numbers in terms of fuel economy. You can count on 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Some reports suggest that the Enclave could come in a performance version in the future, probably with a new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6.

2020 Buick Enclave Release Date and Price
The 2020 Buick Enclave is expected to arrive sometime late in the year, probably in December. It should keep the same price, which currently starts at around 40.000 dollars.
