The current generation has been around since 2015 and it is expected to carry on for a couple of more years. Despite the pretty affordable price, the Sorento has one of the nicest cabins in the class and we expect that the 2020 Kia Sorento will continue in the same way. That means a cabin that features plenty of style and excellent materials quality. This is even more accentuated in higher trims, where you can feel a real premium touch, something that only a few rivals can match. This cabin is not just stylish, but also quite functional. The 2020 Kia Sorento will continue in the same way, with the layout that includes standard three rows of seats.
The first two rows are very generous in terms of space and comfort. The fronts seat are particularly good, with plenty of support and massive backrests. There are not the best numbers for the class, but still good enough for daily use.

If you prefer a peppier ride, there is a well-known 3.3-liter V6, which is good for about 290 horsepower. With such power, the Sorento accelerates effortlessly and delivers pretty amazing overall ride quality. Both engines come paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Features
When it comes to standard equipment, the current model stands pretty well, so we don’t expect bigger changes for the 2020 Kia Sorento. Therefore, expect that base models will feature things like a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, a USB port, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system etc. Of course, there is more in higher trims, where you can also get things like 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, panoramic sunroof, a 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, satellite radio and more.
When it comes to safety, the only standard feature in the current model is a rearview camera and we hope this will changes. Still, all the essentials are available already in mid-range trim levels. Considering that there are no important changes to come, we are pretty sure that the 2020 Kia Sorento will hit the market sometime late in the year. When it comes to the price, the current model starts at around 26.500 dollars, but fully-loaded versions can go all away up to 46.000 dollars.
